I saw Nikki Hill perform recently, and I came away with one feeling, "She's gonna be big." Now, admittedly, I'm not the correct demo for determining that any more and I've been wrong before, but Hill has star written all over her. Belting out a sound that's simultaneously familiar and fresh, Nikki and guitarist and husband Matt Hill put on a great show. Equal parts Etta James and Nancy Wilson, Hill's soulful voice is a perfect fit to the Rock ’n Roll she enthusuastically exudes. I reccommend you see he soon while you still can up close and on a small stage.
