Jimmy Thackery doesn't really look the part, especially if the tattoos on his forearms are covered up. He kind of looks like a retired high school principal who has a "Blues" band until he grabs a guitar and crashes the first chord. When he starts channeling Albert Collins or Buddy Guy (or just Jimmy Thackery) you'll know you're in the right place. There aren't too many Blues guitar players with the power of Jimmy Thackery. Don't let the mild-mannered appearance fool you, the term "blow the roof off the joint" applies to Jimmy Thackery & The Drivers.
